The options list is never ending.. My current car i found just before it saw the crushers. Was just a basic 328i Sport... If u love ebay as much as i do ull find bargain genuine bmw parts to ugrade everything. Now iv got pretty much every option from the factory options list from Individual spec to GT spec parking sensors... Only thing i dnt have is parking sensors and a cd changer Personally I plug my iphone into the stereo and can use it that way.. But the best purchase i think u could make is a Parrot Handsfree kit! Quite cheap and is also appealing to buyers when u come to sell the car Hope ur happy with the car, once u go Bmw its extremely hard to change to anything else

Yes Yes Yes =D well worth it! Id do the silly mods if u wanna do any at all firsr though, I.e. induction kits / exhaust etc Or u wont benefit from them if done after a remap

What about the s*x scene in the car?

Im not taking the mick... Because this happened to me when i got my first Bmw. But do u have any sat navs, road angels or phone chargers plugged in to the cig lighter? All my other cars cig lighters turned off with the ignition but they dont on the bmw's... Mine continued to charge my satnav and roadangel which got me stuck at Oxford Services once.

I have a small one too MrMetatarsal =( I filled the gap by squeezing down a 1liter oil bottle =p ( bodge it 'n' leg it ) Iv got twin subs, 3 amps and a bass cap with a screen too but iv never had a problem with this battery. If a battery is drained completely its next to impossible to recharge it again Check leads on the alternater or even test the alternator by driving with the battery terminal off ( after starting it of course ) tis how i discovered mine was dodgy. Have lights on and see if that dim and get brighter when revving. Or if uv a volt/amp meter test both battery and alternater whilst car is running. If to the top guys on here think this sounds a load of rubbish, im sowie, im still young and learning =p

The guys coming down from Birmingham id suggest popping down the A13 before Dartford into Dagenham or Barking.. Last week it was only £1.37. Gav.. If im right in thinking uv got a diesel, dont bother =p lol still bl**dy expensive

Ahh cant help u there olli, Im old skool brought up on american classics... Never used a diagnostic machine =(

Have much did u overfill it with oil? As long as u ddnt experience 'piston slap' u may hopefully of gotten away with it? Over filling can cause all sorts to fail.. Mostly gaskets..I can tell u this from experience lol Is it overheating at all? Exhaust popping Or smoking as ian suggested? Have a quick check of the spark plugs.. With regards to the overfuelling this will probably be the fuel to air mixture which will cause it to run rich.. Average i think is about 14.7 air to 1 fuel. ECU's not doing its job right or could even be a dodgy MAF..not allowing enough air in. Im thinking out loud here so Ill do a bit of research for you because im slightly confused =p

Iv not driven a 320d yet so i cant comment on their overall power but my guess would definitley be your MAF sensor... The MAF sensor is fitted in the inlet duct on the outlet of the air filter and measures the mass of air flowing into the engine. In theory,the ecu will inject the correct amount of fuel for the amount air going in... If the maf signal is failing, the first obvious sign is very sluggish acceleration when pulling away from rest. This is also the cause of that heart stopping delay pulling onto roundabouts and into heavy traffic. I bet you suffer from irratic idling too when u stop at lights?? Best way to confirm this is remove it ( with the engine off!!! ) temporarily and see if its any better. Try it on your way home from work =p its only a wire that unclips, and let us know =)

Ahh im only 22 and they only do cover for 25+ =( To make you feel even better about your quote i paid £3200 for just third party last year and this year im looking at £1900 third party fire and theft.. But atleast i can finally get insured to drive other cars =D Which means i can Drive my Camaro to shows now instead of trailering it everywhere =D Happy Happy =D

Who did u use for Trade insurance Gav? Iv been looking for ages! Got 5 cars and can only afford to insure one! =(
