  3. were do we start, if your really ocd youl start with a good clay to remove pretty much everything you cant see on there for a start try some autoglym super resin polish then go over with a wax are sealant. once you have done that no need to polish again for a few months just keep it topped up with your wax of choice say once a month to 6 weeks, longer if you get a good wax. dont wash it with fairy liquid to , youl remove all your hard work :D

    They usually melt when the coil pack has a constant 12v and earth. One side of the coil pack should have a constant 12v + and the other side will be pulsed earth by the ECU. Usually when they melt 12v + and - are constant due to a short. Make sure that the wiring from the ECU to the coil hasn't been trapped or is shorting to the engine. copied from another forum :rolleyes:

  12. check out if the price is the right price. check www.parkers.co.uk also look on the likes of ebay/autotrader for what there going for. what you also have to think about is no one is really after a convertable going into winter, but if they do there after a bargain good luck

    welcome to the forum i still get confused about all the Es to lol my bmw is a e46, it relates to the model year, so evan though its say for mine a three series its changed it style from say the e36 three series

  18. managed to get some on ebay for a tenner :D just need to get the thermostat sorted now, and also the housing!! who ever had it before me broke it, which is nice of them mot time then, then proberbly up for sale!

  20. put your vents on full whack to , this helps get rid of it better . just make sure you wear some eye wear. and yes i no, youl need to clean the interior to but the OCD in us like that :P
