  1. i done mine a few months ago, cost me £65 if i remember right, but that was the housing aswell so on its own it should be alot less. easy enough to change to
  2. hmmm a few probs then! heater could be the thermostat? rev counter could be dodgy sensor, poss the clocks themselves? id say its a sensor at a guess. lights, maybe the switch is faulty? a diagnostic check should reveal any probs in the system.

    i think if you have a spare they have to check it but if theres no spare theres nothing to actually check so cant fail you on it.

  13. commen prob with BMWs isnt it. im looking into mine to. take it the headgasket is ok? could be temp sensor, thats what im looking at changing next. did you mechanic plug a scanner into it?

    seems to be the only major issue with bmws, engine wise. the cooling system is a bit wierd! think the prob with mine is the temp sensor. going to look into it next weekend
