  14. to be honest a scooby and s2000 are totally different cars to a 3 series and i dont feel can be compared, any bmw convertible is more of Monaco Car rather than Le Mans in my eyes, the 335 is a stunning car! go and test drive both in my eyes, "stiff" suspension doesnt mean it will handle better in real time, Rember the plod used to use Vauxhall Senators Over the Carlton GSI because the suspension was softer which ment on the public highways it was a better preformer. bit off topic there!
  15. Without a decent battery, its near impossible to find a fault.glad it was a simple fix!
  16. I wounder if this is an area thing Dabsy? Because in the capitals of the world( London, Paris and madrid) where i have been recent white BMW`s are EVERYWHERE! and is a much more common colour than others, does it have anything to do with a certain sports event coming up soon? maybe white is easier to "wrap" However In Milton Keynes and the Isle of Man, you see a couple of White 3 series coupe but thats about it
  17. Amazed you cant get one from BMW, Try FAB recycling (BMW BReakers) Not cheap but they do what they say on the tin, Or take it out and get it a proper refurb on it, have a look on the internet alot of classic car fuel tank refurb companys around

  22. It is the IN colour at present, supply and demand i guess!
  23. You pay for what you get, First thing to do, get the swirl flaps removed if they havent been done already!! Google will answer any further questions on them
  24. Dont get me Wrong I love this car, I love it so much i did 1.7 Miles in it last year! mainly due to work, and also i was using the morgan for my topless fun. However one of the reasons i dont use it is the battery drain. Leave it for two weeks and its flat, quite annoying! now i get around this by disconnecting the battery however i shouldnt have to do this, clearly a there is a fault some where, so far I done the following Disconnected the radio-Still goes flate Put a small child in the boot to see if the light stays on,which it doesnt-still goes flat Taken the glove box bulb out-still goes flat with the ignition off got a multi meter out and poke the fuse box to see if anything has excessive current going to it, which again it doesnt. Now before anyone says, YES the battery is fine and YES the alternator works! Its a 99 318 cabby. anyone got any ideas to solve this apart from disconnecting the battery/torching it?
  25. Agree white is hard to keep clean but nothing is worse than cleaning a black car.damn swirl marks and water marks! Congratulations in order for you charlee, dont worry about being skint! Life will ensure it stays like this for the majorty of us!
