Hi just got my 1998 Z3 1.9 and will be looking for a few track bits to add for the odd fun day out. I'll also be after info and any tips from you good knowledgable people, that's if you don't mind sharing.

    Tons of silly things you can do to them, and they are reasonably handy on the track (see my sig)

    With the K&N filter do you have to do anything with the ECU? Or does it adjust itself?

    Nothing required to the ECU mate, it only effects the air flow very slightly which the ecu will adjust itself for, but it does sound good.

    When you get to the stage i have, i.e. air filter, exhaust, sports cat, then the car would probably benefit from a bit of a remap to make the most of the performance parts, but it doesnt effect normal driving conditions of the car at all.
