Dodgy Door Handle

Hi Guys, my Drivers door handle has been getting stiffer lately, and yesterday it finally stopped unlatching the lock, well after seeing this post http://www.xdrivers.co.uk/forum/index.php?&topic=417.0 i realised the carrier was broken, now my question is, until i get another one can i swap the carrier in the rear door for the drivers door?

I am probably wrong.. But it could be different because of the fact you can set child locks on the rears of any car. Literally just a guess haha..

Without looking I would say not, simply because of the lock-barrel...
