I have a 2008 z4, does anyone know the best way to connect an ipod.

To the tow-bar... I hate them things  :P

Best most simple way to do t is buy an aftermarket radio.

Although there is a way of modding the cd changer lead to take iPod connection.

I think it's been mentioned on here before.

Thank you

Probably best option changing the head unit.

I've been looking into this for my 2005 3 series, there's various connection kits available with varying prices. BMW do an iconnect kit which looks really nice installed but is expensive. Mine has an aux in port (3.5mm jack) in the arm rest storage area and 12v socket, just ordered a iphone to 3.5mm/USB lead and 12v charger from Amazon for £3.50, will still have to select tracks from the iPod tho. If it sounds ok, may buy a iPod nano 6th gen and fit in ash tray. As yours is a newer model you may have a 3.5mm aux in and USB which may allow control over the iPod.
