Hi all

I need some help , I ahve purchased a 1997 R reg 523i , but it has no cd multi changer in the boot , it does have a business cd in the car itself , but I was just wondering if

1. I can get a replacement multi changer ( Yes I have two wires in the boot)

or

2. As I have the cd in the car I cant actually put a multichanger in.

Any help in this matter would be very helpful

Regards

Markie_380

Normally you can put a CD charger in no matter what head-unit you have .

BMW's are Alpine units re-branded for BMW , so the cheapest option is

either 2/h (most breakers shud have one) or buy an Alpine .

The only thing is you will have to make sure of the plug as they changed

but I can't remember which year it was done .

I'm selling a 6 Cd Changer removed from an E46. Not sure if it would work.

Hi Chris

The model is a 1997 R reg 523i SE It has a business radio and CD player in already , just wanted to know if I can add the cd multi changer

  • 3 weeks later...

Sry Markie , that was aimed at Gav .

I meant depends on what model charger he's selling as to whether it fits an E39
