I am a first owner of a BMW, and it is The passenger seat a 840 with 47,000 kms on it. It has a a couple of problems: The latches or cables operating the seats (to tilt forward) are broken/stretched. The passenger seat only has one motor working to move the seat forward.

I am looking to update the standard Radio/Cassette with a later model Radio/CD (with IPOD capabilities) and need some help on this one

    Hi There, Glad to see a fellow 840 owner. I have updated my factory unit with a BECKER TRAFFIC PRO. It has CD, sat nav and I pod connectivity. i have removed my factory changer as it was no longer needed. If you look on E BAY you should be able to locate one. Hope this helps.

    My 840 is also a 1995, have you had any issues with yours yet, to date mine has been fine and getting 17.2 mpg. although i bet our fuel prices are dearer over here. £1.40 ltr.!!
