my trip distance recorder button wont press in, it seems solid, anyone had this problem or have a solution or any ideas?

no its the one on the left that resets the last trip

oh yes ive done everything i can think of, save pulling it with pliers, but scared of braking the stem

Hang on.. Are we talking the button to reset the mileage? Because on my compact it's the button on the right. And the one on the left is solid so god knows what it does :/

Hi yes the button on the left is supposed to reset the last trip to zero, but on my car it does nothing just solid, the button on the right changes clock thanks for replying

not had this problem either but maybe try slight twist and push at the same time :unsure:

Hi thanks for the suggestion, i just tried twist and push a few times but not made any difference

I would just yank it. What other choice is there? Lol

yeah yank it lol , or get the hammer on it that usually works lol
