I love my car which I bought a couple of days ago. The only thing that is obviously wrong with her is shown on my media library under 'my car'.

The pics show the hood down and a plastic insert in the correct place on the nearside of the car,but leaving a hole 4ins square on the drivers side. Both sides of the car shown for clarity.

There is a rod which has a spring attachement connected to the nearside plastic insert and this pulls the insert backwards into place. The drivers side has become disconnected but I can get to the sprung rod......how does it attach to the plastic insert?

My husband says he'll take it to the garage but I thought I'd ask here first. Thanks in advance. Sandy
