Hi! I've just bought a 55 plate 2.5 in black with red leather. I love the vroomy straight six noise. It's a 5 speed, so not a cruisemobile. My friend asked what the Sport button does - I had to tell him it turns your pants brown!

It's a fairly low mileage (£33k) and well looked after.

I love it!

I might be biased but I'd go for the 2.5 but make sure it has the sport button. To get the best with little outlay also fit a K&N filter to help it breathe a little easier, hit the sport button and let it fly down the road with a satisfying howl.

The 3.0 is a fair bit faster but is more on insurance and drinks like a fish.

Skip it mate, go for a pre ass lift 2.8 Z3. Far better looking motor. Retro is the new coooool. :rolleyes:

How very perceptive of you!.................I guess it's a generational thing...... Personally, a Z4 does nothing for me, but my son and his partner love them. A bit like Ferrari, their cars from the 60's and 70's (especially the Dino 246) to me are things of beauty, whereas today's models are so much more angular and aggressive.
