First post so take it easy guys :)

I'm a firm believer in research prior to buying a car & am an active member of the Toyota Avensis Owners Clubs.

Basically, looking to trade in my 2006 Toyota Avensis T180 D4-D (177 BHP, 400Nm torque) for a 2-3 year old BMW 320D basically for the really decent diesel engine that BMW makes (good power/torque and economy).

Any ideas what models I should be considering and especially what should I be looking out for ? I was thinking along the lines of a 2009 320D SE but really undecided - dont want the Tourer or Coupe.

    Hi buddy, i've just been scanning through the 3 series section but suprisingly not much activity or posts. I had a Toyota Celica, and now moved to BMW too, have a 320d M Sport, loving it, hope you're enjoying yours too =)

    i also had a toyota celica before my bmw.the bmw is by far more comfortable and planted but the celica was a great car too.enjoy
