hi all any ideas on this problem

my car has just started flashing up check on dash and on comp it says brake light circuit check i have checked the brake lights and they are both workin so dont understand

any help welcome

    Could be any of your bulbs mate, check them all

    Ones usually missed are fogs and reverse lights

    Also check all front lights.

    Have you changed a bulb recently?

    i got a side light out on bk but that been out for weeks will replace tomorrow n see if that does it thanks

    If your car was younger I would guarantee this was the problem...but I'll say I'm 70% sure mate

    Does you interior boot light come on when you open the boot?

    Check the "common" earths in the boot area, mine were loose !!

    Also, a failing battery/alternator will throw errors in the dash as BMW's demand quality power from both !!
