Hi everyone. My name is Adrian, known by my offspring as 'Old Geezer.' Never done anything like this before and hope this is the correct way of saying hello to everyone.

Only just bought my first BMW, although always wanted a 3 series every since being a bit of a lad. I have owned Volvo's and Honda's for their reliability, practicality and build quality. My last car was a C30 which was a great car and a complete departure from the sensible models I've had before and I will miss it. However a decision had to be made and I thought 'sod it, it's now or never,' so here I am the proud, if a little nervous owner of a '58 plate 320d SE and so far I love it. Very different from the C30 which was small, agile and nippy. Perhaps I'm not fully in sync with the car yet but I love the comfort, quietness, poise on the road and the power that just seems to keep on coming.

I like cars and always look after mine and have had an interest in cars which I got from my father who taught me the rudiments of repairs and maintainance and from looking at owners clubs before, spotted there is a huge ammount of experience and help which I may need.

Anyway that's enough from me for now and I look forward to my time with you.
