I hear what your saying

I have owned the following 4x4s

Range rover vouge p38 4.6

Grand jeep Cherokee 4.0

Ford explorer 4.0

Ford excursion 5.4

Pajero 3.5

And the x5 4.6 and have to say I like the BMW the most out of the lot !!!

I have to agree with Dabs, I have driven one a 4.4 I think, and been a long distance passenger.

Im not a fan at all, 5 series all the way..

Sorry Chris.

Had a 530D and loved it until the turbo blew, boot wiring shorted and the iDrive packed up.

Must agree that it was a lovely car to drive; it ate the miles and always left you feeling fresh at the end of a long journey.

But it was starting to unravel so it was assigned to great PX in the sky (for a CRV no less!) Good little car only fault with it? It's not a BMW.

Anyway I've palmed the CRV off onto my wife now and I get her X5 3.0D Sport!

Another excellent car and it's like driving a monster truck after the 5 series!

Had a 3.0 petrol X5 for a few weeks, amazing car to drive, unfortunately had quite a few problems which took the shine off it and the the boss wanted it gone, would deff buy another one, rear bushes can be expensive to replace and can need replacing around the 80k mark i believe
