  1. Had a 530D and loved it until the turbo blew, boot wiring shorted and the iDrive packed up. Must agree that it was a lovely car to drive; it ate the miles and always left you feeling fresh at the end of a long journey. But it was starting to unravel so it was assigned to great PX in the sky (for a CRV no less!) Good little car only fault with it? It's not a BMW. Anyway I've palmed the CRV off onto my wife now and I get her X5 3.0D Sport! Another excellent car and it's like driving a monster truck after the 5 series!
  2. Hi All, I have a 2006 X5 with an after market bluetooth kit and iPod dock connected. Both work fine but the TV function always displays "muted" and there is no sound on the TV. I can't find any way to mute or unmute the TV in the owners book. Is there a way to do this? Could it be a dodgy connection on either the bluetooth kit or the iPod dock? If so how do I get the head unit out to check the wiring? Many thanks in advance. Ian
