    Not sure mate, but been as you have quite a large engine, i would say no problem.

    I have recently fitted a tow bar to my 525d and was pleasantly surprised, i have previously towed my twin axle caravan with a Navara but the car is more than up to the job.

    Pretty straightforward really... There is a towing-eye in the toolkit, just screw it in the front bumper !! :P :lol:

    Ive owned an e39 but didnt tow in it. Rear Air suspension so should be a doddle.

    Fantastic is the answer! My e39 pulls my dastlerace box(mam 2500kg) when its emptylike a dream.you max towing weight is 1600 kg and to be fair anything over 1400 becomes a strain.

    I tow a motorcycle trailer with my 4.4 V8 no problem at all! wouldn't see a problem with a large caravan either but not for me! :rolleyes:
