Okay, my BMW has just gone in for it's annual MOT/Service

It's came back the parking brake is having little effect, The front nearside tire is worn, Windscreen washer jets are kaput ( Din't get an explanation ), And 2 of the shocks are dead too..

EDIT: also the rear fuel lines are corroded or something

She's ringing me back in half an hour with a price list for the problems, And what isn't covered under my used car warranty with them..

My question is, what sort of price should i be looking at for these repairs. Before she rings so i have at least some knowledge on not getting myself scammed..

Thanks in advance, Dan.

Parking brake is easily ajusted so nowt for that.

A tyre is as much as you want to spend.

Washers, prob a blocked pipe, faulty nozel...max 20 notes.

Shocks, 60 pair Couple of hours max ay 40 an hour.

Cheers for the input, It's helped a lot! :)

Could also be the pump for the washers but check fuses first.

You should hear the pump, if not theres your problem mate.

Keep us posted dude.

you might need a new pump of ya washer jets bout £15 from halfords or nick one from the scrap yard just be careful coz there is a nipple that the pipe goes on which snaps easliy if you yank the pipe off also check your fuses like gav said there only pennies ,shocks are nothing major probs about £180 max both sides fitted ,tyre £15 part worn ,fuel lines cant say as ive never had them go on any car ive had ,if you park your car on grass that can make the underneth such as the fuel lines corroad and rust like a ##### ,hope this helps :D
