Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

parking sensors have decided to stop working, when engaging reverse the audio bleeps for a few seconds along with a flashing light (even tho nothing near the sensors) then goes quiet and the light continues to flash. All sensors are clean and are making a ticking sound, any ideas

read on other forums that if one fails the system does not work, and that they make a ticking sound if working and they are all ticking so a bit stumped.

finally got faulty parking sensors fixed, turned out to be front number plate sensor, had to take the X to local specialist as I had a warning light on dash, turned out I'd left the oil filler cap off, didn't I feel like a dipstick, that will be £40 quid please. On the plus side also diagnosed the above, got a OEM sensor of ebay for £40 and fitted in about 10mins without having to remove the front bumper.
