Hi guys.Has anyone replaced their rear discs and pads? I hear the pistons have to be 'rotated' back into the caliper and if you go too far you can break them. Is there any truth in this? I can get the parts for £100 and a local dealership want £300.Daylight robbery.

    Same with all rear pistons mate, they have to be rotated in.

    I usualy do mine with a G clamp, but propper tools can be brought.

    If you havnt done this before, do some good research, as brakes are a major problem if they go wrong :)

    As Gav says but they don't need rotating!! Just loosen the nipple and push it back in... If you get substantial resistance then remove the caliper and service it - Mucho, mucho grande cheaper than a replacement !!:rolleyes:
