Mpg On 316Ti Compact

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a 316ti Compact. I have a 406 Coupe 2.2Hdi at the moment which returns me about 41mpg but I've always quite fancied a 3 series Compact.

Official figures report 40.9 but know official figures are usually crap so can anyone give me an idea of mpg from experience for a 316ti compact??

    Im a diesel man myself, but I imagine 30mpg..

    My 1.6 megane only did 32mpg combined, that was without a turbo!

    i have one m8 and around town i get about 32.8 on motorway i get about 40 :) but with a burnt coil u only get 40miles for £20 ha
