Hi Guys, ive got a rear brake pipe (drivers side) that is corroded alittle and been advised to change before next m.o.t (next year)! Just wanted to know does it join to the other side (passenger side) as one pipe or does it split in middle so only drivers side need to replace?? Any info will be good. :)

They are devided mate... They have to be this way due to ABS, etc...

Use kunifer (Long life) piping, and goodrich hoses if you can afford it...

As Dabsy said mate

You are welcome, Kev... Any Motoshop can/will provide Kunifer pipe - best pipe as it will outlast the life of your car!

Thanx Dabsy, i will look around, like i said theres no rush for me to get it done now, but now i know what to look out for! Thnx again :D

Just to add mate, If you only had an "Advisory" on your brake pipes they are not leaking, they can only fail the pipe if it leaks these days.

My advice is to coat the pipes front to back in copper grease (after getting shot of the muck etc) DON'T use a wire brush...
