Off (or from) the lights has to be AUTO, especially using Traction Control and Sport modes...

I had to use Sport mode today to disappear from a poxy Mondeo coz it it was up me fart pipe... lol

depends, are we talking the same type of car with the same engine? then yeah a manual is prob faster.

Ok rules are, same car, eg 2

e46's one manual one auto

and have to have same engine eg both 2l

I used to have an Auto CRX del sol and once that got going the car SHOT off but absolute sh*t from standing sorry guys

Mmm I would say autos apart from mine, because I spend more time sitting at traffic lights in neutral, frantically praying for a gear to appear.

i only use auto or sport when im on the motorway, round town manual it keeps me awake i drive a 728i sports on a 51 plate
