got a e46 325ci for the wife but theres one vac pipe i cant find where it goes need help its driving me mad!!!

thanks ive been told its the purge valve it sits on the front of the engine to the right one pipe goes to a solid pipe on the n/s inner wing but the one im trying to find a location for look like it goes to the inlet manifold somewhere.its a solid plastic pipe with a 90 degree angle rubber joining on to it? can get pics if required!
