Hi all . I run a 07 320i M Sport Coupe. Could I change from Run flats back to " normal" tyres as I have never liked Run flats due to ride comfort and road noise? Many thanks

yes you can, lots of people do this due to the harsh ride. only downside is do you have a spare tyre? might be worth getting one if you dont.

Cheers for that Andy. Have,nt got a spare yet as was thinking of getting a tin of puncture foam for the time being. Is it true that BMW are not putting run flats on this years models? I need all four renewed in about 6 months, possibly the rear ones first in about 2 months. Would it be ok to do that or would it effect the performance of the car?

the general rule is as long as you have matching tyres on each axle so to say your fine, so having different tyres on the back two to the front should be fine.

only thing with the foam stuff as well is , once used the tyre is scrap(are so ive been told)

im not sure about BMW going to normal tyres again , although it wouldnt surprise me as there not very good ive been told.

Cheers Andy. The cost of replacing Run flats is a joke. £3O2 for the back and £240 for the rear and thats EACH!
