Took it into dealers thursday. They mot,ed it passed straight away. They said the other places machine must not be calibrated correctly and only charged me £25 for the retest. Well pleased

No mate. Took it to another garage for its mot, not the dealer for its mot. Rang the dealer after it failed, so how can they say it will be 2 hours before they hook it up to the diagnostic?

    Runflats

Cheers.Never thought shopping around for tyres could be such a pain. Too much choice. Got Bridgestones on since new, But am thinking of putting some other brands on instead maybe yokohamas or hankooks. Any info would be grateful

Another question. Would putting normal tyres back on affect the sensor that would come on if the runflat had a puncture?

    Runflats

Am about to go for run flats back to normal tyres. My question is when my car is due for its next mot and I have no spare due to having nowhere to put it , would it fail an mot? Albeit I would obviously have a can of puncture foam in the boot
  9. Cheers Andy. The cost of replacing Run flats is a joke. £3O2 for the back and £240 for the rear and thats EACH!
  10. Cheers for that Andy. Have,nt got a spare yet as was thinking of getting a tin of puncture foam for the time being. Is it true that BMW are not putting run flats on this years models? I need all four renewed in about 6 months, possibly the rear ones first in about 2 months. Would it be ok to do that or would it effect the performance of the car?
  11. Hi all . Just joined and would like to say Hello. Look forward to viewing the photos and asking a few questions
  12. Hi all . I run a 07 320i M Sport Coupe. Could I change from Run flats back to " normal" tyres as I have never liked Run flats due to ride comfort and road noise? Many thanks
