Lo` folks, newbie here, hoping someone can help...! My 04 Z4 is using (losing)? coolant, no obvious leaks, but vapour from exhaust, although I`ve noticed that other Z`s lose vapour too. Have checked for sludge in expansion tank, none,hope it`s not a head gasket,,,! Running fine, no obvious faults,

    no worries, make sure you post up how you get on, hope thats the prob. cant see why it would be losing fluid though come to think of it. small crack in a pipe?

    Yes i did think that could be the cause, cosidering the bad weather recently and the age of the car, these things do perish! Yes i will post the problem on here when i identify it.
