Hi All, im new to BMW's, and have only really driven my new car today. The Airbag was intermittantly flashing at me. Sounds silly, but is this probably an air bag sensor? And how can i find out which one?

Thanks

error code reader will tell you exactly one, should be a sensor or a loose wire somewhere

Welcome to the BMW Owners Club :)

I would definatly get that checked out asap, I would get that looked at today.

could be dangerous, probably ok, but best get it checked out just in case.

Get it on a code reader, prob is a dodgy sensor but being certain could save you lots of messing about and a lot of money.

hiya,

id get it checked but my airbag light is permanently on, ive had it done twice it was a tensioner fault but its still back on, ive given up now as its apparently a common fault.

Hello there boys and girls, im a newbie too the BMW scene! I dare say I will be for a while.

You say this is a common fault....does the abs light come on too?

Also while we are on the subject of problems, igot idle issues? Can anyone help? I had a quick flick through other posts I think this is common? I have changed the air flow meter. Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

Hi,

Ive never had any abs light problems, what does the symbol that is flashing on and off look like?
