amp keeps cutting out :(

hi all,

today i finally installed my sub and amp and im running it off my standard headunit, iv got just one problem tho....

whenever i change the volume the amp just cuts out then comes back one 30 seconds later :s if i keep it at a steady volume it sounds sweet and doesnt cut out.

iv checked all the connections and ever re wired it again so there is no issues there iv just ran out of ideas now this has really stumped me.

    also have you got the cables running near each other as i believe if there to close it can cause probs

    I solved the problem it was because I had the RCA wire running off one of the back speakers which I was already using for the line output converter, all running sweet and sounds great ill write a step by step guide and will put pics up :)
