sitting here wondering whether i can fit a heads up display in my 3 series, lets be honest with the amount of traffic enforcement around these days you seem to be encouraged to watch the speedo and not the road,so a heads up may tick the box of being able to do both , has anybody tried this or knows of the price to get it put in :D

im sure theres aftermarket versions, no idea how easy is to set up though sorry

i have never heard of a aftermarket set up as of yet, but it would be an interesting project

it would also need to calibrate itself the the current speedo current

lol Ive been doing it with my phone for AGES lol pretty nice idea just hammers the battery....completely pointless and gets pointless when you go round a corner and your phone falls off the dash lol

i think i need to buy an i phone! my blackberry does sod all!but sounds kinda cool if u can do it from a phone(just dont turn right with your window open!) :lol:

iphone is cool, but i cant txt very well with it.. struggle with the size of the keys. Blackberry is better for texting and emailing.

the new BB might be a better option.

I use my Ipad for all my apple needs

iphones win on applications every time

Android win on every other front, camera / speed / usefulness of phone / call quality / etc

Andriod all day anytime, but as Greeny says Iphone for apps...

But big big no no on windows based phones, go for the Linux ones

Definately get your point though, iphone apps are by far the best quality wise

Android sooo much better for day to day usefulness and the phones being awesome!

Windows trailing the pack...as always (cant you tell im a mac user lol) I must admit I do love the interface on the windows 7 phones but....the lack of decent apps and complete overpricing of curreent apps makes them less than desirable.
