hi all im new to this site and new to owning a bmw i brought a 318 ci sport lastweek and its been fine then i turned the asc on and off and the engine managment lights come on and stayed on is this bad cheers phil

    Hi Phil welcome to the forum :D

    This may seem like a silly question and forgive me if im wrong but are you sure its the engine management light and not the traction control light.

    Either way if you turned it off again the light should have gone out.

    It may be worth popping it into the garage and enquiring, but maybe someone on the forum has had the same problem :unsure: Val

    As Val said are you sure its not the ASC light, also if you hold the ASC button you get a red light come on the dash too...it isnt this is it.
