Hi All

My BMW 840CI has sculptured rear seats which normal child car seats don't seem to fit, BMW did manufacture Child car seats for this car but I am having trouble locating one. does anyone know whether any other child seat fits an 8 series or has had similiar problems. If anyone knows where i could get either from, I have already been to halfords,mothercare and toys r us and they all told me to go to BMW. Main Dealers no longer stock these and I can't find one on the internet. Please help!! any ideas welcome!!

Old post but I know that 8 Series child seats are so diffcult to find, everyone still seems to be having the same problems

      Mobile Phone Connection

      Hi all, I have a 2023 G21. My works phone will connect to the car straight away. My own phone, a Pixel Pro 9 will not. I have tried forgetting the car in my phone settings, the car does not have the phone stored in it's memory. It connects for a split second then immediately disconnects. Interestingly, it won't register as a digital key either. Before I head off to BMW and look foolish, would anyone be able to offer a suggested fix please? Thanks

      Aircon specialist in South East?

      HI Folks, After an 8 month search finally found a cracking M365csi with no real rust! Only issue apart from the terrible headlights that make night driving a bit scary is that the aircon doesn't work. Lots of glass which is great for visibility but does get hot in there! Seller assured me it used to work but it's been stored unused for a while so maybe leaking? Anyone recommend a really good auto aircon specialist that they would trust with a 39 year old car - somewhere near High Wycombe preferably. thanks Ken

      Hi Paul I would guess the oil level sensor is on its way out the only PITA is you cant change it without draining the sump so Oil change time job. Dave

      Dash Warning

      HI all, I am being displayed this image on the dash LED when I turn the car off. Cannot find it referenced anywhere and it seems to show both an oil can and a level indicator as the oil has been checked and is fine as is the rad. Can anyone advise please.
