What to do to get back on the road?

Featured Replies

Newbie question(s)..... I have a 97 325i 90000 miles which was my wife's car - she had to stop driving and for the last 5 years the car has been garaged. It was in excellent condition when stored. I'd like to use it and have had insurance quotes, reckon I'll need to replace the tires and get an MOT and know there will be VED to pay. The question is ' Am I missing any bear traps?' Are there any things I should know / check / do to avoid someone saying to me after an expensive problem ' Why on earth didn't you do X before you put it back on the road? My 5 year old knows you have to do that.....'

Hi and welcome.

Did you try ourselves at all for insurance? We offer members up to 15% car insurance.

Regards,

Dan.

Welcome to the Forum

A Diagnostic scan a full service and inspection by a Garage that understands BMW's. BMW Dealers can be very expensive so I would look for a Local BMW Specialist (there is a register online)

Good luck with the recommissioning
