2019 x3 boot canopy cover won’t shut

Hi I’ve tried to close the boot cover but it doesn’t retract into the unit. I’ve pulled it out to the max but there’s no ‘pull’ or tension so it’s not rolling back inside. any suggestions please to try? Thank you

    Hi it stopped retracting a few weeks ago. I can’t see anything that might have got lodged but I’ll take another look and thanks for the heads up over the 2nd hand boot canopy
