My wife is short and needs side steps to get in. I checked with the dealer and I've looked for after market. The only ones avaliable extend the factory panel out and they don't lower the sill. I ordered the car and the factory side steps only extend the sill not not lower it. Has anyone else found anything?

Morning Jefferey

Welcome to the Forum

There are no lowering side steps that I am aware of for any of the X models

Maybe one of the companies who adapt cars for the disabled may have something but I doubt it will be an easy fix
