Hi all

I bought a 2019 BMW M4 competition on Saturday and annoyingly it only has Apple CarPlay, anyone recommend a way to use Android Auto instead? I know there are kits you can buy to convert them but any recommendations would be good!

    Welcome to the Forum

    I believe if your phone is Android 10 or better it should be straight forward for you to activate Android Auto

    There are some good how to Videos on you tube. With my Motorola G22 I needed to set it up initially with a wired connection through the Aux port, once set up it just connects via bluetooth 

    No additional bits needed

    It may be quicker and simpler to fit one of the Android headunit conversions there are many available now and they are really good (got one in my E70) cost around £300 and you could either keep the old headunit so if you sell it goes with the car or sell it and recoup some cost.
