Loss of power after timing chain repair

Hi,

Just had timing chain replacement as a precaution as 125k on clock. Was a bit noisy on start up and then quietened down so garage said could do with getting replaced. Left it in to a garage who deals in timing chains. On pick up sounded a bit noisier than usual and not as powerful I thought. So thought maybe it would quiet down once it drove a while. Then it stated to shake and rattle. As I accelerated the loss of power cane up and engine management light came on . Had to pull over had some smoke in cabin and from under bonnet. It starts but idles rough and shakes.

Taken back to garage but he thinks the dpf was blocked but was fine before I left in surely this wouldn't just happen.

Any ideas

Sorry for the negative reply but I had a very similar issue with my car minus the smoke my car was never the same after i had my timing chain replacement so a year later I sold it as I wasnt happy with it .... I read online somewhere that if the fuel pump isn't time correctly it can cause running issues
