Hi there,

Currently trying to add an amp to my E81 130i.

I intend on installing a hifi OEM amp.

Looking in the boot (behind the arch liner) I can't seem to find an amp harness.

I have attached pictures.

Would this harness have been installed ready to plug and play? Or in a non amp car did they not bother?

Sadly I think the bean counters have killed off the days when a full loom was fitted to every car. Check www.realoem if you haven't already, put the last 7 digits of your Vin into the search box it will bring up your model then search the audio section. That will give you an Idea of what to look for plus the small exploded drawings may help

Not sure what system you have fitted which may also dictate whether they fitted an amp connection. You could check a Vin de-coder to see what was originally ordered

I have installed the door tweets (HK) which had the connector in the door ready spliced from the mids in the doors.

I will check out that site and see if that helps.
