Hi everyone just wanted to find if anyone here can help me with my bmw e60 535d gearbox problem as it revs it up wen I put it in cruise control. They have told me it mite be the torque converter but not to sure.. any suggestions? Thanks

    Welcome to the Forum

    The ZF transmission in your car should be serviced every 80 to 100,000 kilometers BMW in their wisdom state "sealed for life" 

    So how many miles/kilometers  has your car covered? and when if ever has the gearbox been serviced ?

    I would start by finding either a ZF service centre or ZF agent near you they will be able to plug in and diagnose the issue accurately. Often a flush and change  of trans fluid and filters with a software update will be enough. 

    Obviously to change a torque converter is a box out job which is much more costly
