I have a July 2019 2 series active tourer. 1.5 3 cylinder petrol.  When car is parked on a downward slight incline there is a loud "thump" from underneath the car  when the engine kicks over .as if

an exhaust support is broken or an engine mount is faulty  Doesnt happen when parked on level. Main dealers cannot solve the problem Any ideas  anyone.??

Volvo V70's used to have an issue similar it was a top engine steady that used to fail strangely the noise/thud used to sound as though it was low down. I don't know if this is any use but as Richard says long shot.
