Hi I'm new here but I was wondering if I can pick your brains. I have an 2011 e90 with the adaptive headlights which appear to have led indicator in them. The problem I have is that the left indicator has stopped working. What I am trying to find out is, are these led units if not how do I change them as they seem to have a metal case where the indicator bulb would be. If you can't change them is there a relay etc I should look for. The drivers side indicator works fine though. They look like the picture.

If I recall under the front wing in the wheel arch there is a hatch two twist clips at the top. Use a coin to turn them lift out the hatch and you can reach the bulb holder, you do need the wheel on full lock to give room to get your hand in even better with the wheel off.

Good Luck

Yeah I done that and after that is where it's not like the video I seen on you tube. I will have another look today though. Thank you Greydog

What is different? Check www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits in the search box then look in the lights section make sure there are no options get the part number and check to see if someone has fitted an aftermarket lamp unit if all else fails take out the headlamp

I've been doing a little research and found the part number for my indicator. It's 63127245813 if anyone needs it. I've also discovered there is an indicator control module the part number for that is 7263087I'll have to diagnose which it is now to get the right part.

Thanks for the help though.
