I love pre-2000 German sedans in black. I’ve had a few Mercedes over the years and have a nice 1997 C-230 that I’ve loved.

Recently I’ve purchased a 1997 BMW - my first one. Much research have led me to believe the pre-vanos 4.4 litre engine with 282 bhp and 320 ft.lbs. Of torque is the one to get if you are planning on keeping it. I’ve watched 5345 YouTube videos and am ready to begin the fixes I’m able to and farming out the suspension repairs (ball joints, A arms, connecting rods, bushings etc...)

Please feel free to offer any advice - drivetrain is strong but high km.

I've found it invaluable to see what goes where and to ensure I get the correct part. Also http://www.meeknet.co.uk/E31/BMW_M60_M62_M62TU Timm's BMW site loads of knowledge and how too's
