Have a problem with the car starting ok and running fine after about 6- 10 miles starts to run lumpy as if it is only running on 3 cylinders stop the car turn it off take the key out then restart and all is good again any ideas what may be causing this thanks Andy

I would advise having a scan carried out to read the fault codes generated when it misfires to narrow down the likely causes.

The car has been into my independents garage for the last three weeks they have tried a lot of things but nothing has worked they cleared all of the faults and the re read after it happened but nothing shows up on the diagnostics he has told me to take it to a main dealer as nothing else he can do.

i have found that if I leave it to tick over for a few min after start up the fault dose not happen any idea why this may be
