Hello.

Just bought a black 1999 318is Coupe for commuting and as a project. I have had it a couple of weeks and so far so good. Looking forward to sharing it with you as I tart it up a bit. Also looking forward to some help and advice. So far I have found that he air con is dead, the tape player is broken, the windscreen washers don't wash, a fog lamp doesn't light and there is a smell of petrol when I open the door in the morning. There are some dents, some scratches and some blobs of paint...

      Tyre sizes and PSI pressures for my 08 plate 635d Auto

      Hi Dave. Good morning and thank you for your quick reply. The only reference in the manual is to refer to the label on the 'B' pillar but it does not confirm the tyres actually on the car ! The car has Run-Flat on the front and regular tyres on the rear ! The tyres are as follows :-- Rears Uniroyal RainSport 5 275/35x19 and the fronts Pirelli P Zero 245/40x19 with RSC in a circle. I am going over to my longtime tyre dealer tomorrow for some locking wheel-nuts that have been ordered - the totally refurbished and very well shod 19" wheels are a rather tempting bag for some light fingered individuals.

      Morning Dave Thanks for your quick response it lives on near side of suspension strut this picture with air box back in it’s part of loom original taping etc very strange it has to have a porpoise? thanks

      Morning John Tyre sizes are correct for 19" staggered set up, as the tyre makes are different I guess the rears have been changed due to the fact they have worn quicker 😁 (enthusiastic driving) Tyre pressures are normally in the manual and should be 35psi all round IIRC ENJOY it Dave

      Morning George Sorry don't recognise it Where does it come from ? If it comes from the scuttle area it could be part of the scuttle and roof drain system. Have a look at www.realoem.com it may give some clues? Dave
