Hi all, after the number of reports in the media, including the TV
program Watchdog regarding the thiefts of BMW's and other makes of cars
I'm slightly getting concerned with my 5 series M Sport.
Recently in
Essex there has been a spell of 2005-2010 E60 M Sports being stolen
including 5 that went last Sunday night all in different areas.

I've
been looking into Steering wheel Locks (Disklok, Stop Locks etc...) but
unfortunately none of these work well with the M Sport Steering wheel,
either causing it not to fit on the rim of the wheel of causing problems
with the horn going off...

I was advised today from a local cars
spares outlet that there isn't a steering lock for M Sport Steering
Wheels, my next point of call will be a local BMW dealer to see what
there take on this is.

Is there anyone out there using a crook lock type system as a deterrent and if so what make...

As ever your help, pictures and advice will be appreciated.
