Extra Power Socket

Hey there,

Just thinking of how to install an extra 12v sockets/usb ports into the centre console, maybe into the rear ashtray. Anyone done it?

The wiring may be in place as some vehicles came with them factory fitted

Still surprised at the fact they only one as standard, and no cup holders.

They need to make money on the optional extras. Cup holder can be purchased, goes where the tray is behind the gear selector.

However the arm rest will be in the way.

I bought two cheap cup holders and adapted the hook to fit on the door pocket, one each side.

Not a bad shout, I kind of begrudge paying so much for the standard ones especially when they're a bit crap.
