330D M Sport 2005

Featured Replies

Have just sold my 728i after 11 years and am now contemplating buying a 330M sport diesel tourer 2005.It has done only 42K.I know the car well and it has had 2 lady owners. The present owner has had it for 12 months and has only done 3k in the last year with daily short runs. She has had problems with the DPF warning and has had it cleaned and followed the regen process although it has come up again recently. I can pick it up for 7k but don't want to end up spending a further 1k or whatever on a new DPF.Any advise would be most appreciated.Thanks.

Maybe if it's only doing short distances it needs a good blast on a fast road to clear it.

Mike,

Thanks for that, we have done this twice now over the last 6 months but warning has come back up again. If this is normal and all it needs is a good blast once in a while then that's ok. How will I know if it needs a new DPF?

Cheers.

That i wouldn't know, not fitted to my vehicle.

Are there any codes stored?
