Hi all I'm haveing starting problems with my 02 3.0 d x5 , it first happend a couple of weeks back , went to the Trafford centre , came out couple of hours later and wouldn't start ? It cranks over and there's plenty of power in battery , after around 20 mins it just fired up and then has been ok for a couple of weeks until this weekend , it's been plugged on a live diagnostics computer and it came back with low fuel pressure but no codes could it be fuel rail sensor or maybe crank sensor ?? There's a new fuel filter on and can see fuel in the pipes , any info greatly appreciated

I reckon u have a fuel pump issue, either the small inline low pressure pump under

The car on near side rear or the primary pump in top of tank.

I would say more likely to be the inline one as their most common, that would also cause the low pressure
