Needs must sometimes guys and gals. I sadly had something like 20 years of Cortinas Cavaliers Montegos Sierras Vectras and Mondeos when I was Repmobile Boy. :(

(A "claim to fame" which I am actually a little bit proud of is that I had one of the very, very first Sierras after launch. I had a change of vehicle due at just that time, collected it from Head Office in Central London, -it was a Y reg, so must have been 1982 or 1983 - and as I drove through and out of London got more people stopping and staring than if I'd been the Lord Mayor!) It was utter sh*te, btw. They called it the jelly mould because thats what the first ones looked like, and it drove like one too, !Removed! awful.

me 2 lol....by the time I said about all my car the session would be over pmsl :)

I know the feeling. Im on car number 50 odd. That plus around 10 bikes (not allowed one since I got married 20 odd years ago).

When I first started driving in 1979 (goes to show how old I am) i used to buy a car for a few hundred pounds and change it every three months. Before I got married I had two cars (one main car and a project car) as well as a bike on the go. Marriage really does change things. Still I have my own car and the wifes car is always the one that I use to tinker with.

Now the daughter has had a first driving lesson she wants one as well. Guess who will have to pay for it?

Bruce don't start on about how old you are 'cos Jeffthro will start on about OAP's again. God, I remember my daughters first lesson, she nearly killed us both, never took her out again.

Perhaps you both should compile a definitive list of what cars you've owned and when. May become a best seller lol ;-)

You got me! :) I am indeed the original and genuine Old Git!

AND I've got two daughters with my second (and still current, lol) wife, one of them I taught right up to within half a dozen lessons of her test, and the second one I took out once and then sent to an instructor. (They both passed first time too!)

Moving on to a list of cars I've owned, not even gonna try, but my very first car was a 1947 Ford Prefect with a new MOT which cost me £12.50. Or £12 and 10 shillings in original money!
